Carmine Pellegrino | UX Designer

Carmine Pellegrino
UX Designer

I architect information, analyze and design flows, wireframes and prototypes. I present, discuss, talk design, fail, try again.

I architect information, analyze and design flows, wireframes and prototypes. I present, discuss, talk design, fail, try again.

Whatever I do: reading an instruction booklet, booking a B&B, consulting a website, paying a bill, ordering a pizza, I am drawn to the experience. Basically I’m self-taught, with a transversal and multidisciplinary education that intersects with three main axes: UX Design, Communication, Media Production.

With a mainly humanistic academic path and a work experience that, with a freelance soul, has seen me grow in an international environment, I have developed a great ability to adapt to the liquid nature of the projects I have worked on.
My smart-worker status, acquired right from the start of my career, has also allowed me to develop a certain independence in project management, without ever forgetting the importance of being a team player when necessary.

Resisting the temptation to jump immediately to the solution of the problem as it is proposed, I devote myself to clarifying what is the deep, fundamental question to be addressed in order to take informed decisions. Always bearing in mind that the principle of good content design is to solve the right problem, I have developed a design thinking that is based on the divergent-convergent method of Human Centered Design. In every project, the phase that has always excited me is when you design that new, often unexpected, shape that represents the best solution that meet the business goals and the user needs.

I continue to observe, study and learn, because I have always considered them my responsibilities. In the coming years I want to consolidate my knowledge as a UX and Service Designer and continue to enrich and structure my design thinking with new professional experiences. I want to make my small contribution to that new digital humanism in which we design for people’s needs.

The future is made by people first, and not by technology.
